I believe that at its core, yoga is a transformative practice that leads us to more awareness, more joy, and an open heart. In my classes, I strive to create an environment where students both challenge and nurture themselves. My classes are a dynamic mixture of Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga as taught by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois and Larry Schultz's Rocket Series. I encourage students to continually deepen their practice through breath and energy awareness on and off their mats.
I have been instructing adults and children for the past six years after receiving certifications from It's Yoga and It's Yoga Kid's in the traditions of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga.
As a natural lover of all things movement, I enjoy AcroYoga, dance, ballet, aerial arts and often I weave those disciplines into my more dynamic classes.
Strength, peace and wisdom reside within. A truthful and dedicated yoga practice clears the external layers to let your inner light and strength shine out. Yoga to me is a celebration of life.
I am eternally grateful that my yoga practice lead me to the big island in 2007 for an Acro Yoga intensive. It was there that I felt the healing energy of the ocean and with the supportive and playful spirit of my fellow Acro Jedi's my practice blossomed.
I am truly blessed to be living and sharing the magic of yoga.

Namaste

Yoga means "union" in the Sanskrit language. It is a healing practice that helps unite mind, breath and body as one. By bringing our focus inward and concentrating on breath, we heal, relax, renew and regenerate from the inside out. Other physical benefits from a regular yoga practice include more flexibility, clarity and balance.
